JID has effectively dismissed claims that hip-hop is struggling and hinted at the release time of his new album after the tour. He made this statement in hi s Instagram post after returning from Saudi Arabia.

The 30-day North American tour began in early May and will conclude on June 15 in JID’s hometown of Atlanta. Currently, JID is opening for 21 Savage on the American Dream Tour, which also includes performances by Nardo Wick and 21 Lil Harold.

JID (real name Destin Choice Route) is an American rapper and songwriter known for his intricate wordplay and dynamic flow. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, he gained recognition as a member of the musical collective Spillage Village and later signed to J. Cole’s Dreamville Records. JID has released several acclaimed projects, including “The Never Story” and “DiCaprio 2,” and is celebrated for his contributions to the contemporary hip-hop scene.
