Today we will talk about the interesting folk acoustic track ‘All The Bananas’ by Joff Lowson’s trio. It should be said that it stands out as a refreshing contribution to the contemporary bluegrass and folk scene. Joff Lowson, a veteran of the British banjo scene with more than thirty years of experience, leads the trio together with guitarist and vocalist Dave Brown and double bassist and vocalist Mike Pryor.

Vibrant, Folk, Satire

It’s curious that in ‘All The Bananas’ there is conceptually a sharp social commentary presented through a satirical prism. Just listen: The metaphor of monkeys hoarding bananas to then critique contemporary human greed and materialism is quite bold, vivid and unusual, isn’t it? I recommend everyone listen to this track to feel this light satire and enjoy the excellent sound.
