Hello! We are passionate listeners, musicians and dreamers who love music and love to write about it. The idea of supporting independent artists was born in 2020 as a personal and free space dedicated to indie music. Years of tireless music coverage and countless responses from listeners and artists became the fuel for our growth and inspiration. We realized that indie music is a voice of freedom and creativity that cannot be ignored. This understanding grew stronger with every passing day, with every new track.

At some point, it became clear it was time for a rebirth and a complete relaunch of the blog. On April 23, 2024, the project was reborn under a new name, Purple Mistress. With renewed energy, passion, and a powerful desire to give musicians a space where everyone can feel heard and, most importantly, like a star.

Purple Mistress primarily highlights rap, EDM, hip-hop, R&B, and pop music. But we are open to artists of any genre because true music knows no boundaries of style, it has heart, it has soul, and it deserves to be heard.
