TASH, an independent artist working across hip-hop and R&B, presents “Rumor Mill” within a creative approach built around candid expression and bold storytelling. Her interest in pushing rap towards less familiar musical territory gives the release an intriguing context. The ambition is clear: preserve the genre’s emotional substance while finding fresh ways to communicate through it.

Storytelling, Honesty, Experimentation

For “Rumor Mill,” the most compelling point of entry is TASH’s identity as a writer. Hip-hop and R&B offer ample scope for that exchange, bringing narrative possibilities together with emotional expression. TASH’s stated commitment to both gives this release its broader significance within her developing catalogue. The appeal rests in an artist pursuing a personal vocabulary and taking her writing seriously throughout.
